There’s a lot of big waves heading inshore. One of them is going to be the right one for you.
But which?
There is no formula that’s going to help us choose the wave, but…
Over the last 20 years I have developed an approach that will help you.
It’s based on a number of key principles.
I will share them with you now and you can take them away and use them to catch your wave.
- Having the same business model as everyone else is a really bad idea
- Copying a business model only works in the short term, if at all
- Business knowledge is so widespread that many people will have the same solution as you (see Point 1)
- To find a different solution you have to see the world differently
- It starts with a lot of creativity and imagination – business sense and practicality follows on behind
If I lost you there, that’s ok. Go back to Point 1 and ‘enjoy’ the competition
If you want to carry on, well we’ve lost the bullet points.
That’s because when you do something new, when you start exploring where no one has been before, pushing back the bounds of possibility, then there aren’t any bullet points marking the trail. There’s rarely a trail.
But then riding a big wave isn’t exactly the way to keep your heart rate low either. If you are up for trying hit the button below
