Super excited to be speaking at TEDx Scunthorpe in November
I spent much of the early part of my career in the steel industry – Assessing British Steel plants that made rails for railways and then exporting European steel to the far east for use in oil rigs.
The second part of my career has been all about helping businesses and startups reimagine the world and create business models that deliver value and impact to consumers, organisations and increasingly the world.

So it’s super appropriate that I will be talking about reimagination – taking a fired plate, crumbling it back into clay and then remoulding it into what we now need – and how we can apply that to the organisations and businesses that are driving our culture and economy.,
Whilst I haven’t written the talk yet it will be drawing on my experiences working with 500 Global, Visa, The Church of England, University of Warwick, Siemens and some truly amazing people David Plumb Lesley-Anne Long Domenic A Chiarella Ozan Sonmez Professor Andy Pardoe Conor McCarthy Malek Ali Thila Suppiah Johan Donough Andrew Sillitoe.
Above all, to my amazing wife, Senay Oakley who has stuck with me through more trials and tribulations than either of us ever believed ❤️
And if you can make it to Scunthorpe on the 20th of November I will be absolutely delighted!
