Just back from holiday.
Two weeks of camping on the Welsh coast and remarkably 11 days of perfect weather.
The biggest lesson was –
If you think you don’t need, don’t have time for, or can’t afford a holiday – you do need one.
When I sat down to think about it it turned out that the last holiday that we’d had as a family was two years before.
No wonder I was getting a bit ragged.
As an entrepreneur, there is always more to do.
There are always more opportunities to exploit, and problems to solve, than you have the time or headspace to nail.
Which makes it a hard place for a perfectionist to play in.
Hence the need for the breaks, the holidays, time to take the load off your frantically spinning motor and let it cool down bit.
If you are tired as you read this, then spend a few minutes for the next break.
